Alberta School Boards Association (ASBA) is pleased to share that its position statements are now available to the public through a new online database.
ASBA’s position statements are adopted by member school boards through thoughtful discussion and voting at General Meetings. These statements inform provincial advocacy and reflect the collective voice of locally-elected public, catholic and francophone member school boards on key education priorities.
Please note that while ASBA represents a province wide perspective, individual school boards may also have their own local priorities.
We hope this new resource helps keep Albertans informed on the advocacy work undertaken by ASBA and school boards in the best interests of students and local community needs.
